 Chapter History

The Prevailing Pi Omicron Chapter was chartered on Thursday, April 14, 1988, by nine distinguished women on the campus of Wake Forest University. Our chapter is the first sorority black or white to be chartered on our campus. Since then, we have continued to pave the way and uphold the Pi Omicron legacy.  Delta Sigma Theta Sorority inspires its members to adopt important values such as leadership, empathy, and ambition, and to always leave a positive impact. We’ve made a life-long commitment that will not only advance our leadership and professional development skills but empowers us to advocate for change!
